How It All Began
It started with a coffee that was supposed to last thirty minutes and ended three hours later. We met at a mutual friend's birthday dinner in New York City back in the fall of 2020—and neither of us left without the other's number.
The Proposal
On a quiet evening overlooking the Hudson River, James got down on one knee with a ring he’d been hiding for four months. Emily said "Yes!" before he could even finish the question.
